6 in a row. I'm really frustrated! What's wrong? Is it lack of talent? Is it incompatability? Is it Mussleman? Is it Petrie? I have my own ideas but I'd like to see/hear yours.

It's the curse of P-E-J-A.

I remember all the people in the cheap seats clamoring for Peja's head before he was traded. Why they wanted a "more physical" Kings team with Artest being the hub of the offense....

I think this current team is a joke. I would keep the "space cadet" Kevin Martin and Bibby and trade the rest. And Francisco Garcia is a big bust!

Default metoo

I think maybe I'd keep Corliss. He's got more desire than B.Miller ever had.

Okay, I'll bite. I think team chemistry is non-existent right now. Bibby hates Artest. Kenny Thomas hates Shareef - and just about everyone else. That guy has a major attitude problem that we all could see coming at the end of last season. Why they didn't get rid of him, God only knows. And where has Miller been? they have said he was gone for "personal reasons" but I don't know if I buy that. I hate to say it, but this team reminds me so much of the "old Kings" in the pre-Maloof days.

Tell me, why do you call K-Mart a "space cadet"? I think Bibby has issues with him, as well.

Hi. I'm new here and from Asia. I'm a Kings fan as well. This current team is terrible. I think the Kings need a legitimate big man that can dominate the inside and block shots.

Brad Miller will prob. play well if he slides down to forward just like when Divac was there.

Just an outsider's perspective, though and I know nothing about those love-hate relationships.

I don't think they'll make it to the playoffs if this continues but I don't like Petrie making more trades on mid-season as he has done before.

I'd rather let them play it out the rest of the season then pick a good rookie, pref. a dominant big man in the next draft and do all the trades off-season and let the new coach have a say on who his new players will be.

Just my two cents.

I lost interest when Chris and Vlade left and I had been a HUGE fan for a long time, season ticket holder etc. Its sad to see that there weren't able to push through

I'm not sure Artest, Bibby, and Miller can be the "Saviors" maybe not Mussleman. I'm thinking Martin and youth plus trades(wise) and draft.

Any thoughts??

Looking4home,

I call Kevin Martin the "space cadet" because of the way he moves around with his body upright and that combination deer in the headlights look and smile. He just looked lost in space out there at times early in his career. He is much more confident this season and has turned into a very good player.

I have always liked Peja and that trade for Artest really moved me off the Kings bandwagon. And it didn't help when they traded Bobby Jackson, another of my favorites.

Time for a youth movement via the draft.

Agree about the draft but it has to be quality picks and Petrie must make sure the Kings has a pick in the Top 5. Many are saying that the next draft is pretty deep.

They must definitely pick-up a dominant man via draft or trade off-season. Let this season pass. I don't think they are going to make it to the playoffs anyway and if they do make it at 8th place they will just be road-kill for the Top team as would Barkley would say it. Also, mid-season trades is useless if you have a new coach and new system. No impact, whatsoever.

You're right. K-Mart is the only one worth saving but I can still live w/ Ron-Ron and Bibby. Brad isn't just playing well... and seems to have no desire or effort.

I think Corliss is good as a reserve. Salmons is another good reserve that can pick it up when a starter is injured.

Default more on Martin

What a bummer! The young man is having a career season and he is surrounded by a bunch of slugs.
Reminds me of Walter Peyton.
