Thanks for everyone's input. The information is very helpful. I guess we can stop panicking and thinking our dream is out the window because we can't move right away.
Thankfully we have excellent credit, no credit card debt and my car will be paid for in less than a year as will our LOC. We currently live below our means which is a good idea in this economy.
