Default Commute from Elk Grove to Modesto

I may have a job opportunity in Elk Grove, and I live in Modesto, not excited about the drive, but these days, a job is a job...what is the commute like? Anyone else going that way? I was also considering Tracy, but I know what that monster is like...I'm thinking that Tracy is closer, but the time commuting to and from Elk Grove may be about the same...
Thanks for your time.

It had better be the best job ever. You're looking at at least an hour drive each way, from either Modesto or Tracy. Consider how much 120 miles of driving will cost you in gas and wear & tear on your car, and how much you can afford to spend 10-14 hours a week driving to and from work.
