Dark chilly day today, with a lot of wind and rain. Nice change of pace from the perpetual sunshine we get here, seems to clean out the dust that gathers from long dry periods very well.

We need this rain! I've lived in the Sacramento region forever, and this is typical for December. I don't know if the charts support it, but I feel it's also about the coldest month we encounter.

Hopefully we'll gt a normal to above normal rainfall total for the season.

Looks good today, and for tomorrow, a long and heavy rain.

I hope it rains long and hard each day. We definitely need rain in the Sacramento area and snow in the mountains. With 2 years of drought, we'll be in bad shape if we don't higher than normal precipitation this year.

No complaints here, we need the snow in the mountains. Having said that, I was just up at Northstar last week, and those first few storms apparently did do some good; coverage on the mountain was surprisingly decent.
