Yes, I agreed with you to apply private universities. But international students are hard to get into Stanford because local students get priority first if they are the same GPA. Even in UC Berkeley & UCLA, local student get easier transfer rate.

So, that's really the problem for international student to go on study in the last 2 years unless they are rich. But, there is a wish, there is a way. Let's see what happen later. No one knows.

Being rich really opens that many doors...
As for private universities, I think scholarships are easier to get for international students as in public universities, they are in most cases restricted to local students.

Regarding life in California : what are the laws on guns ?
I saw that in some states, people are allowed to bring them in their car (this is mad !). Are there strict regulations ? because despite what some people say, guns don't bring protection: they create problems !

Your opinion on guns will make you right at home in any of CA's major cities... if you go out into the country or up into the hills where there are areas of hunting, people won't tend to agree with you, but in any of the big cities, the legislators will tend to share your opinion.

Crime is very low in Rocklin, you have very little to worry about.

Smile Sierra College and dorms

Hi,

Our son is going to Sierra College Fall 2012 and will be living in the dorms.
I was wondering did you attend, I noticed your posted was dated 2007 and if so did you stay in the dorms.

Is this a good school, what is the campus like.

Thank you

Looking at OP's posting history, he/she went to college in Indiana. Maybe someone else here can answer though!
