Now, is that the water side of the dam??? I can't believe it is like that..i bet we could find some normal water pictures..its too low for my son to get his ski boat out there, they usually launch at Rattlesnake Bar...boy come on rain..

When you contrast the depth at the base of the dam, the difference between then and now is rather startling.

Those are some wonderful pictures that show the diversity and beauty of the Sacramento area. Are those wondeful homes in Land Park..wish I could afford to live there...and I love the pictures of downtown..thanks for posting.

Keep the pictures coming, please! Like someone asked - anything of the Folsom, Roseville, Granite Bay areas?
Also - which park was that posted? The one with all the ducks in the pond?

Hi Orchid! I am guessing that might be Land Park? That area of SAC is beautiful, charming old homes, and the park is great!
I will post more if I can find some...we use to live up there in Placer County (Newcastle) and I worked in Granite Bay and lots of travel in between...might have some on my desktop computer so will check...it is a beautiful area..I love the oak trees..
