Hi,
im new to this site but im hoping you can help!!!
Which city would be the best to live with the lowest crime rate, cheapest houses and most of all best place to start a daycare????!!!!
I dont want it to be "big city" with traffic up the wa-zoo just close to the stores, etc and like i said to start a daycare!
ALSO, I FORGOT TO MENTION- WE DONT WANT TO LIVE IN A SUBDIVSION(WHERE YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR GRASS A CERTAIN LENGTH AND EVERYONE STOCKPILED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER).
Thank you sooooo much! Any info would help!
Here's the cities:
Folsom
ELDORADO HILLS
placerville
fair oaks
shingle springs
orangevale
roseville

Well, at first I thought Folsom or El Dorado hills since you want to open a home daycare, but I'm not familiar with those areas enough to elaborate for you on the neighborhoods. It seems like there are a lot of subdivisions in those areas. I do think there is an older part of Folsom that you could look into. However, if you are looking for more established neighborhoods, I would suggest Fair Oaks, Carmichael, or Orangevale.

Thank you. With what you said, do you thing the older folsom would be a good place for a daycare? Or do you think if i went with the more established areas in fair oaks, etc it would be a good place for a daycare?

WOW Quite a list

Those places vary SO MUCH
As a mother, here are my thoughts

Folsom - Yuppie Tract Homes - VERY good schools - low low crime
ELDORADO HILLS - Subdivision HOA - very good schools - low low crime
placerville - in the foot hills, not as new, clean & good schools (long commute)
fair oaks -nice good neighborhood, good schools but pick wisely
shingle springs - way in the woods
orangevale - hit or miss - most is not great - pick school wisely, most affordable but has crime
roseville - Just like Folsom

If you don't want "traffic in your wazoo", then the only acceptable places on your list are Single Springs and Placerville.
