Default Recommend a good Chinese restaurant?

Can anyone give a recommendation for a good Chinese buffet in the Sacramento area?

The name escapes me but there is a good one behind the Target on Riverside and Broadway. It has had several names over the years and I cannot say what this last one is,but it has been consistently good.

I believe it's now China Buffet and it has a huge assortment of dishes as well as sushi, numerous deserts, fruit, etc. -- all you can eat at a reasonable price. My office staff and I used to go there several times a year.

You don't have to be SF or Brooklyn to find a good Chinese restaurant...Sacramento has had them (and a significant Chinese population) since the Gold Rush. For me it's more a question of trying to pick one good one of many choices.

The original Frank Fat's is good but very pricey, and not a buffet. Personally my favorite is either Jade Garden on 7th and J or Tea Cup on 21st and P, but neither are buffets either. There are probably 20 Chinese restaurants on Broadway alone, and another 30 (along with an equal number of Vietnamese, Thai and Mexican restaurants) along Stockton Boulevard.

best buffet is the "no #1". someone messed up on the name. on stockton and florin.

for regular dining, jumbo seafood on freeport is great. $25-30 for their dinner for four package.
