I visited Seattle occassionally from Portland, and it did seem to rain MUCH more...and I noticed quite a bit more rain covers everywhere as well.

I find this to be absoluty Inacurate, dramatic, and just plain out ignorant. Im not from Seattle, but have lived there for the past three years and I am glad that i did not get an opinion before i moved here. Also, I lived in Elk Grove before I moved here. For one Portland and Seattle receive the same amount of rain
National - Average Days of Precipitation
Second on average while we are talking statistics the amount of rainy days from april to November are only 14 with 24 days of clouds. It is not freezing in Seattle, you are exzagerating perfusly, as well as many other major US cities in the winter and fall are in the teens. the summers reach well into the 80's on a constant basis if you were here in the summer of 2008 that was just a horrible year, besides that there is no were in this country that has a better summer. The fashion in Sacramento is very bland and is a failed attempt to copy San Fran, the city within itself is very country. There is almost nothing to do there besides go to Arden or Rosevill seattle has more than 10 malls. If sacramento was so great why is the population of Seattle double the size. People please do not listen to these typical californians...... They must be from LA Also during this recession we have been noted the most Stable major city in America as well as the most educated. If you feel like you need to argue please do your research before you reply
Its 3 in the morning so please excuse my spelling
