why don't you try to import the goods directly from Indonesia or Malaysia?
I've heard their teakwood furniture have a good design an quality, I've saw at the exhibition.

thanks aan. Won't importing be expensive. We plan to sell the furniture after sometime as we might relocate again.... we do not plan to keep the furniture for long. So do not want to purchase expensive stuff. Renting furniture is an option but it falls more expensive when duration is more than couple of months.
I heard abour cort clearance center at Sacremanto! anyone had any experience with Cort?

Home Consignment Center. I haven't been to the Folsom one, but the one is Roseville is great. Also, Craigslist. You'll find amazing deals, but need patience and a truck.

yes i went to Consign-IT...its ot wonderful stuff! bought a lovely lamp for 19$.... lovely sofas!
