Where to Recycle in the Greenhaven/Pocket Area (Sacramento: homes, centers)

Howdy y'all.

Just moved to Sac from Portland and I was surprised that recycling is so difficult to do here. In Portland, every home is supplied with a huge recycling bin and a compost bin. If the public found out that a business was using Styrofoam, they would get run out of town!

Anyway... my plastic bottles are pilling up and I can't find anywhere to redeem them. Are there any automated bins around town or do I have to go to one of the main recycling centers? Where are the recycling centers?

Homes in Sacramento are also supplied with recycling bins--they are the blue ones. There is already a thread here on local recycling centers:
