Question Davis to Vallejo Traffic
anyone have any idea how long a morning commute would be from davis westboard to vallejo (weekday traffic) google maps says 45 miles, 47 minutes, but would like to know the real time.

I would guess it would be closer to an hour, but Im not sure. It always seems to take forever. However, Davis is an awesome town, and I would definitely recommend it. Are you new to the area?

The slowest portion will be West of Fairfield at the truck scales and 680/80 interchange. I would imagine during peak commute time West bound would be at least an hour and possibly 90 minutes. The East bound commute will be brutal.

Red face depends on when you need to be at work.
I go through Davis several times a week... I commute from Sac. to Marin County a few times a week. If I leave Sac at 7:30 I hit Davis around 8:00 and Vallejo around 9:00 (stoping at Peet's coffee in Fairfield for about 10 minutes). I find Fairfield a lot worse coming home then in the morning... I really don't mind the comute at all, it's sort of pretty and I listen to books on CD...
