Default Which areas are the most dangerous in Fairfield?

I am looking to rent a 3/1 or 3/2 in Fairfield or Suisun City. I see some good prices from 1100-1300/months but am not sure how safe some of the areas are. Which streets should I avoid at all costs?

Fairfield is as close to Sacramento as to San Francisco, so it's a fair question. It could have been posted here or in the Bay Area forum, and considering Fairfield is on our side of the coastal range it might be a natural assumption for people to make. Although unfortunately I don't know the answer--I have friends who live in Fairfield and come here at least as often as the Bay Area, but don't know much about their neighborhood.

General tendency is to commute toward the Bay not Sacto. Lots of folks flee areas such as Oakland, SF, et al, and end up in Fairfield. Some of them keep the same jobs.

I see why you aked this in this area... Solano county is between Sac and San Fran and you can get to either can be reached in 45 minutes or less depending on the day and time of travel.

Can I ask if you will be working in San Fran, the base, or Sac area? This will make it easier for you to pick.
Both cities have great areas, but a few of the towns around have great areas as well.

travis afb ca - Google Maps

I hope this map made it to the post... if not google Travis AFB Ca and follow me from that.

-For me I would not live off Air Base Prkwy from the base to I-80, I just do not care for the age of the houses, the care of most of the housing areas, etc. Again that is just me.
-On the other side of Hwy 12 is Lawler Ranch and I know many people who love it (we have never lived in that area, but it is nice).
- Fairfield goes from the base area as far as the Hwy 680 area.
-Cordelia (town off I-80) is a nice area, I just do not know much about it.
- Peabody from Airbase to Alamo (Vacaville city) has some newer houses and the area of Foxboro has a good school K-6
-The Ulatis area has some great newer homes as does Leisure Town area.

Best of luck, hope that gave a little more help.

To be honest, the main reason for me to look at fairfield is it's cheap. Still, I want to avoid the most dangerouds parts if possible.

I can understand that, however, As for me, I would not live the "cheap" areas of Fairfield, they are not the safest in my view.
