My step son is going into the Coast Guard and leaves for boot camp Mon Sept 21st. He didn't have a drivers license so he went to DMV to get a picture ID card. Yesterday, he went & passed the drivers test and of course, it will take a few weeks to get the actual picture drivers license,, but he does have the temporary paper drivers license. Last night, he noticed on the ID card that his last name showed that it starts with an "H", but it's supposed to a "M". He did NOT catch this at DMV before now. Will Sacramento International Airport accept his "paper" drivers license (has his picture), SS card, school ID,, to get on the plane? DMV is giving him the runaround.. HELP.. I can't find a phone# to Sac Intl Airport to talk with someone and we don't know what airline he's flying.
