Default Sacramento weather in October?

I am traveling from So. Cal to a dog show in Sacramento ( actually McClennan) on the third weekend in October. The show will be held outdoors. How is the weather up there during October? In So. Cal it's still pretty hot, and I'm not sure what type of clothing to bring.

Thanks in advance!

Majin kids.

We're not sure either. October can be very unpredictable weather-wise in Sacramento, it could be hot or the rain might have started by then. Bring clothes for warm weather but bring something rainproof to wear over it, and a sweater for the evening.

LIke So Ca, it can be very changable in Oct. The one thing for sure, the nights will be cool and pleasant. Prepare for warm days, but bring something as a cover up, just in case.

Same weather as So Cal. Just check your weather forecast before you come. but it's usually mid 80s at beginning of Oct, and to low 70s by the end....so somewhere inbetween there is your best bet.

October in my opinion is the best month in Sac for weather. The summer is finally over and we get days in the 70's and 80's that are nice and sunny. And cool nights. I personally take advantage of this weather before the fog and rain seasons start.
