Default Pumpkin patches?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any pumpkin patches that we could go to and pick our own pumpkin. Not like a Christmas tree lot, but a big one that is fun for kids. I do not mind driving a ways. We are driving from Auburn/Grass Valley area. Thanks

There's a really big one right near where I-205 and 99 come together south of Stockton. I'm sure there's one closer than that for you though.

My favorite is the Western Railway Museum's "Pumpkin Train," where you ride an old streetcar to a pumpkin patch with hayrides, petting zoo, bake sale, and pumpkins for sale, but it's kind of a drive from Auburn. Western Railway Museum - Solano County - California has the details if you're interested, though.
