It seems like lots of places think they're the meth capitol of the United States.

When it shows up in inspection reports/docs when you buy a house, like we noticed here, it's not a good sign. We were looking through our inspection paperwork and noticed something about "signs of a meth lab"... it was something we'd never seen before. I don't know that Denver is the meth capitol, but we learned real quick that meth labs in basements have been a major issue here right away.

I think that's quite a generalization, don't you??
Generalization or not as a gay man I have seen far too many people get hooked on that stuff.
I am from KY and still live here, I think meth is a problem everywhere in the US unfortunately.

To the orginal OP, I really don't think meth is more of a problem here than anywhere else in the US. I certainly wouldn't keep myself from moving here because some people do meth. After 20 years, the only time someone has asked me for drugs is if I had any wrapping papers for a blunt (which I didn't). And that was at frisbee golf park where alot of people smoke weed.
Plus, its not like you can really ever get away from it, or any drugs for that matter, its just apart of society. I mean your next door neighbor soccer mom may be using it to lose a few pounds and make energy for her long ass days of working, and taking care of kids, etc, etc. You don't have to subject yourself to it, you usually have to look for it.
