Default Lowest cost of living N. CA city?

Is it Colusa or Willow or near Chico (to possibly attend Cal St. Chico) or...? My girlfriend is on disability and we're trying to see what would be the most economic CA place to live.

Thanks.

There is absolutely nothing in either of those two towns. Oroville is cheap and about a 30 min drive to Chico, I would just look at rents on Craigslist.

The cities of Marysville and Yuba City, which are only about a mile apart, have a very low cost of living. You'd be about 35-40 minutes away from the Sacramento metro area.

As previously recommended, Oroville (further north from Sacramento) would give you a decent commute to Chico State University, and a very low cost of living too.
