Default What neighborhood in Folsom is the best?

We are relocating to Folsom, CA and want to know what neighborhoods are considered better with good schools? What is the general feel of the area?
Would you consider living elsewhere even if you worked in Folsom? Travel is of no concern up to a half hour commute.
Thanks!

Hello. Folsom is a fantastic city. Check out their website, www.folsom.ca.us/.

Answers to your questions.

What neighborhoods are considered better with good schools?

A quick search brings up a bounty of discussion on Folsom's better points.

If by better you mean "newer", then Blue Ravine rd pretty much seperates older Folsom from newer Folsom. The whole area south of Blue Ravine has a more upscale modern feel to it, while the north area is more historic and matured.

If I worked in Folsom (I don't), I would have no problem living there. This question is subjective to what type of environment you like to live in. Folsom is pretty well sought after for family raising and suburban lifestyle. If you want to go even more upscale, granite bay and el dorado hills offer all of that. You could live as far away as placerville and Rocklin and commute into Folsom in 30 minutes.
Hope this helps out!
