Default Moving to Sac for school--suggestions?

I'll be moving to Sacramento in late December for grad school in the Natomas area. Are there any neighborhoods or specific apartment complexes I should look into (or avoid)? I have two small dogs (Pekingese, both under 20 lbs.) that will be coming along. I'm trying to keep rent at under or around $800...

Thanks!

Now now Majin, that's not true at all. I have noticed more and more Midtown apartments (studios and 1 bedrooms) going for under $800, so I imagine in less-spendy neighborhoods they aren't all that hard to find as long as you aren't expecting the Ritz. As to pet policies, those vary by complex and I'm not familiar with Natomas.
