OK thanks for the education. Its helped a lot so then apparently i'm looking on South Salem.

Now there is an idea. Give "West Salem" a look. Great newer schools, some real upscale and middle class neighborhoods and you have the river between you and the government/prison, and Salem Riff-Raf (Not counting River Park). West Salem also has an easier drive to some of the great Colleges and Universities, in Newberg and Corvallis. You're still close to the freeway when you want it, Salem Shopping, and Medical when needed. The south and north end business and shopping districts are just a drive across the bridge and a right or left turn.

And closer to a lot of the good wineries for a weekend of grape fueled debauchery.

Well A little grape is good, but as a teetotaler, other than alter wine, I don't partake.

But.....

I am going to church twice a day now.


Yep, the grape tour west of Salem gets better every year.
