I'd say stay on South Salem for sure. West Salem is good minus the bridge like others stated. Also, Gas prices are insanely higher on that end of town. Portland Rd and Lancaster DR are the worst because a lot of illegals, meth heads and bums have taken over. Also definitely watch out for state street as there is a lot of gang activity. We are currently renting a house further out east on macleay off of cordon and so far i really like it even tho people do grow pot out here and the roads can be dangerous to drive especially during winter nights.

What is wrong with "illegals" I am confused. I live in the Lancaster area...off Lancaster. I have had no problems. I did see a homeless man in the parking lot. He was trying to rub doughnut crumble off his face with newspaper. I gave him a blanket and some cannabis and a pipe.
