Well a while back I posted about the wife being offered a job at Salem Hospital. Well that finally went through and now we are in a mad rush to find a house and move in the next couple of weeks. This should be fun.

Anyways just wonder who else from here rides bike and does any atv'ing. Would be fun hooking up with some people to do either. Wife and I both ride full dressed Harely's. Contrary to popular belief though we don't mind riding with people that ride non-Harley's. Far as atv'ing go we never rode in the sand or on dunes. Not sure our atv's are setup for it either. We both have mud tires on ours. They are good for either trail or mud but not to sure if they would be any good for sand. lol

Would be nice to do some riding and atv'ing with some people after we get settled out here.

FX

FXRS & 'Wifey' - Welcome to Oregon! (you didn't really state where you are coming from). As for your ATV tires, just let a little bit of air out before riding the dunes and you should be fine until you can purchase paddle tires. Have fun-Ride safe.

Congratulations on finding a house and a job and welcome to Oregon and the Willamette Valley. FYI in case you haven't found it yet there is a Harley store in Salem on the corner of Silverton road and Fisher road (just a block off Lancaster and Silverton). Looks like they have meet ups on sunny saturdays.

Thanks dachmom and I have already driven by there.

So far only taken one ride on the bikes. Just a short 75 mile run not much. Hoping to get out and do more once everything settles down a bit more. House is pretty much all put together its the garage that needs working on now. lol

Default HOG groups

Get in touch with the local Harley group. The HOG groups in Oregon are a neat bunch. Very social, always having parties, rides, dinners and parades. There are several local chapters throughout Oregon, and alot of great areas to ride.
