2. I know there is very low humidity (love that one) but how about bugs and spiders and so on? We both are freaking out just thinking about them.

Snakes!!! What the heck, are there really snakes in SLC? I would probably get a heartattack just thinking about them.
Thank you all for your help and your replies.

I've lived in SLC (not the suburbs) for over 9 yrs and have never seen a snake. What I do see are spiders, mostly smallish ones, and various outside bugs like caterpillars.

I have only seen one lizard since moving here, and that was on a hike in the bells. My kids have to catch praying mantis's now (which I never see yet they find a ton of them) instead of lizards and snakes.

I'd consider them to be Cottonwood Heights, although I've got to admit that I don't even know what the exact boundaries are. You can't go by zipcode, either. Cottonwood Heights is predominently 84121, but all of 84121 is not part of Cottonwood Heights, and I believe parts of what I'd always kind of thought of as Sanday (because of the zipcode) is actually Cottonwood Heights.

OK, Katzpur. I guess we'll just call them "those apartments on Ft. Union east of Target". I have a friend who lived there for a while and liked them.

FYI, I have lived in Salt Lake City for 62 years and have seen one snake in the wild in all those years -- a tiny green garter snake.
