Hey, I posted on here a while back looking for a place to live in SLC for a summer internship. Turns out one of the other guys found a really nice vacation home off of Wasatch for $1500 a month for 4 people including all bills and utilities! Such a good deal and the house is great.

Canyon Place 9032

Anyway, we are looking for stuff to do on the weekends or bars to go to. Also, do any of you play golf in SLC and which public course would you recommend?

Thanks for any help!

I'm not a golfer myself, but I am married to a die-hard golfer. He is currently out at Westridge which, judging from where most of our credit card charges are from, appears to be his favorite public course, followed by Stonebridge.

Mick Riley is a good course. It's big and really pretty, and thought I don't golf much, that's where I always go.

You'll love dealing with Gayleen.. We stayed a few months in one of her properties (6967A) when we first moved to SLC and transitioning to find a place.

Lots of outdoor activities in the summer (mountain biking, hiking, golf, fishing, etc..). I'd suggest a trip down to Timpanogas caves, a hike up to Guardsmen pass, and checking out the summer concert series. You've got free concerts up at Snowbird & Canyons/DV in Park City. For golf courses Old Mill is solid in Cottonwood. Up in Norh Salt Lake/Bountiful you've also got Bountiful Ridge and Eaglewood which are both solid.
