Speaking of favoured car wash facilities.

You drive on the platform, and then the equipment would go back and forth, plus the platform itself would move back and forth, so that the area it needed was rather small. It had umpteen sprayers for a thorough bottom wash !! It had separate brushes (round ones) that would wash your wheels ! It did have that *wax* final rinse, but with the wash, you received a couple of packages of wipees that you should use to clean your glass all around. The final sequence was a *blow dry* cycle which really left almost no water on any of the car surfaces. All that stuff in an area not much bigger than a USA double garage ...

Never saw one like that again anywhere.

So I usually look for car wash locations here that have a good bottom wash cycle.

The gas stations in Europw usually have those.
We have a really good one here in Brigham they have a touchless and a softtouch wash. Works great and btw no rust on my Ford.

As long as it has the *bottom* wash, you should be fine.

I don't know. It's my hubby who usually takes the cars down to be washed. All I know is it's $23 per month per car and we have never, ever, ever had a problem with rust.
