Thanks to City Creek Mall, Salt Lake City is the only city in the U.S. to completely regain its downtown to former glory! Kodos to the Church! Now, you got the best downtown in the country with all of vibrancy restored! Congratulation!

Umm, its nice for sure but I wouldn't make those comments just yet. I wonder if its still going to be busy a year from now.

Unless of course, you work for Cheese Cake Factory or City Creek.

Uhuh ... if you consider how far back into area you want to go ... yes.

Apparently, the water in the fountains and the *creek* comes first from the City water tap supply.
Then it is completely circulated and only replenished as it evaporates.
The best way to maintain that *clean water* look,
unless you take the actual City Creek water and
then have to build tremendously big filtering stations ...
now I think about it.

But ...
If you wonder where the city gets its water from, then you *could* say,
yes from City Creek (the creek itself in a sense),
since some of the water (the City water supply),
is originally from the City Creek watershed area.

Also:
(and still does on occasion in really wet springs)
I remember that time when there were foot bridges going across the street.
Plugged up culverts, is a phenomenon, I grew up with, in the Los Angeles area .
Each time it just rained a bit hard, there were flooded streets.

Here you go Katz ...

Will the retail portions of the project be closed on Sundays?
Yes.
On property owned by the Church in the new development, all retail stores will be open six days a week.
On property not owned by the Church, individual owners will determine their business hours.

Lmfao. Lol She is our almost 15 yo, black cat, Kiki. Like, kitty, kitty.

Funny city creek story, we went there after an egg hunt, just after noon, sat, and forgot it was conference weekend. Holy wow, insane busy. I noticed 2 sets of missionaries 1st, then remembered conference. We got a sweet parking spot, but, I loved the lay out, but bugged to leave, as I hate crowds. I lol about it after I left.

It was a pic takers dream. I plan to go back on a weekday night.

You haven't been there, obviously. And it doesn't sound like you've been to Crossroads Mall in many years.Moderator cut: not allowed
