The difference(s) between Comcast and CenturyLink seems to come down to localized service, speed and reliability. In my neighborhood, CenturyLink is faster and more reliable. Yet, the overall stats favor going with Comcast - but I was with Comcast and had major problems with speed and reliability where I live.

Ookla, the speed test website has data on download speeds for Salt Lake City. Comcast is the fastest, hands down - but not everyone is getting the kind of blazing response that Smidget21 has!
