apartment suggestion SLC acessible to university of Utha ??? (apartment complex, rent)

Can some one please suggest me a few Apartements/neighbourhoods/areas/ where i can get nice 2 bed room apartment, may be luxary or a little highend, in the range of $900-1200 and accessible to university too...I am moving to SLC with my family to work in university and would love to stay in nice and clean neighbourhood, free of any gangs or crimes atleast..can drive 10-20 min..,have no idea of city, moving first time to west usa ..if some one please suggest some better way to look an apartment...thanks in advance !!!!!!!!

If you are looking for an apartment complex I'd check out Brigham Apartments or Northgate Apartments at the Gateway. Both are very nice apartment complexes located in the Downtown area of SLC. Very urban feel to both of them.

In the $900-1200 you could easily rent a house in the Sugarhouse area of SLC. Great neighborhood/area of Salt Lake and very close to the U. Same with the Avenues. Go on Craigslist and see what you can find in these 2 areas.
