Hi,

I am looking for a home and want something Eastside, fairly new, and see a concentration of houses around 8000S and 1100E from the 90's. This gets Pervuvian Park Elementary school which our kids (2 and 4) would attend and the houses seem nice for ~$275K

Anyone have any specific information on this area and any concerns for a non-LDs family (there is a church in the neighborhood)? I know I want to be at least above 700E to get away from state street but it is not quite above 1300E which I always considered a nice line to be above.

There is also some stuff less than 700E in Draper that is newer but I am always concerned about being too close to state street (for me where it seems more crime/shady people) would be. Anyone live in Draper near the Freeway?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks,

Mark

There is a big difference between the area west of 700 in Sandy and that in Draper. I think the difference is that in Sandy that area has been settled for a very long time while the area in Draper is still all new. So I wouldn't hesitate to move into the Draper area. I've been looking at the area around 300 east myself.
But the newer homes in the 1100 east/8000 south area are nice as well. Close to Ft Union for shopping and a more established area overall.
