Hey All,

We're heading back to SLC next week (Wed-Sat). This visit was originally set to find a place to live as we'll be moving there in June. However, we've already found a place that was in our target area (between Liberty Park and the TRAX) and decided to go ahead and rent it.

So it looks like this will be more of a vacation than a house hunting trip. We've got tickets for Les Miserables on Friday at the Pioneer Theater and we're planning on going over to the Leonardo to see the Egyptian/Mummy exhibit. Is there a good place to find out what else is going on in the area? Any recommendations on what to do during our trip? We'll probably go on a few hikes as well as maybe make a day trip over to Park City.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Here's a thread especially for tourists that might give you some useful suggestions. You might want to check out Now Playing Utah for some suggestions of other events taking place right now. I'd suggest you pick up a city map at the Salt Lake Visitors and Convention Bureau at 90 South West Temple. They have the best map I've seen of the city, and perhaps one of their employees can add a few suggestions to the list of things I've already mentioned.

Thanks for the Now Playing Utah link that's pretty much what I was looking for... I've already read your guide and it's awesome. Thank you Katzpur.
