Just what the kids need, more exposure to video games!
Uhhh...yeah...we do that too....and Chuck-e-cheese isn't all about the video games--it's about Mom, Dad, brother, and sister...all side by side...playing ski ball....trying to get tickets! It's about holding the baby up to the basketball hoop to shoot a ball...it's about all the tubes you can crawl in and slide down...and yes- this Mom often joins in on the fun! Please- don't knock Chuck-e-cheese's

Oh...well that sounds like fun, now you said it's near downtown...big cities scare me (that's why we will be in Tooele county) so, is it safe at this mall? If so, I'll have to check it out this spring or summer! Thanks!

I will never blaspheme the All Holy Name of your God Chuck E Cheese ever, ever again.
I bet you don't get half as defensive when you hear somebody knocking Jesus Christ.

Chuck-e-cheese is certainly not my God, don't go there. I am quite defensive of God and his son Jesus Christ, which should have never been mentioned in this context! I was trying to be humorous about chuck-e-cheese, sorry you didn't pic up on it.

Me too, in a semi-serious sort of way.

And don't forget Discovery Gateway! It is the renamed Children's Museum located at the Gateway. It blows away Denver's Children's Museum. We bought a membership on our first visit. And as with most things in Utah, Sunday afternoons bring very small crowds. We even had pizza at Sbarro's in the Food Court. Who needs Chuck E., anyway?

Default malls

I wouldn't waste your time with Valley Fair Mall. I live by it and go to Fashion Place(Murray) or South Towne (Sandy). My kids like to eat at the Myan in Sandy. It has Mexican food and a balloon person and divers. I don't think the food itself is that great but my kids love the atmosphere so I get dessert.

Toys r Us is down the street from Fashion Place in Murray

Ohhh... thank you so much!! I have been living here now for a couple months and have realized that South Towne is GREAT! I love it for shopping. Thank you so much for telling me about the Myan... we will go check it out. Sounds like "Casa Bonita" in Denver where we used to go. It's places like the Myan that you wouldn't find out about unless generous people like you posted them on this site! I'm excited to check it out! Thanks!!!
