My husband and I are looking to move to SLC for a relocation. We both work and have a child in daycare. I am looking for suggestions for areas to live as we are non-LDS. Our employment will be in Provo and Lehi.

DH and I don't care much for religion but we are tolerate of others and don't mind a high LDS areas. However, our main concern is daycare for our child. We want her to be in a school where our child wouldn't be an outcast.

We are looking to rent in the 1500-3000 range (prefer $2000-2500)

Does anyone have suggestions for neighborhoods and possibly daycare's where your child isn't the only non-LDS?

I'd suggest that you focus on housing in Draper, which is about 20 minutes north of Lehi and 30 minutes from Provo.

My kids attended excellent home-based daycares operated by some wonderfully loving and well-organized LDS moms, so don't rule them out prematurely.

Personally, I can't imagine why this would be an issue at the pre-school level.

I can't see why it would be an issue at that age either, but regardless: Draper is most definitely NOT the place to look for families that are non-LDS. Really, nothing near Lehi or Provo is. You're either going to have to get used to the idea of being among mostly Mormons or get used to the idea of a longer commute from SLC proper.
