Hello Friends,

I am relocating to Salt lake city Utah. My office location would be 1984 south 4800 west salt lake city. Me and my wife are in late 20's. Any good suggestions for renting an apartment? I dont know anything in salt lake city. rent range is 800-1200 per month.

We love nature and mountains. We are non LDS but Mormons are not a problem for us. lookig 15-20 mins commute to work.

Also any suggestions for good crossfit gym in SLC, i hear one in Park city is famous but that would be too long when my work location is in SLC.

Thank you in advance.
Spiky.

That's pretty close to where I work, let's grab lunch. :-P Hah.

Uhm, there are two new apartment complexes in the area (at about 5600 W and 2700 S), Sagegate and Pinnacle at Highbury. Both of them appear to be rather nice from the outside and I think both of them run about $1100 for a 2BR. You'd have about a 5 minute commute. If you don't mind a slightly longer commute (20ish minutes) and lots of Mormons, Daybreak has a super nice planned community with nice new apartments.

My advice would be to avoid apartments from about 3600 West to 500 East, if you can - unless you go south of about 6200 South. Some are nice, others are not. Overall that area of town attracts lower income.
