Default Commute from Traverse Mountain to Downtown

What would the commute be like from Traverse Mountain (Point of the Mountain) to downtown SLC. I drive a hybrid and I understand I could take the HOV lane because of this?

from bangador / 123 to 400 south ( I think that is the exist) it takes 20 mins.
Fron Suncrest (top of traverse ridge) to 2100 South it takes 30.
Traffic can add Five minutes but usually not more. Peak traffic on the way home can be 15 min. extra on a bad day.

Maybe about 30-40 minutes, and yes, you could use an HOV lane. Traffic is bad during rush hour, but rarely gridlock.
