My husband and I just moved from Florida to Draper Utah (South Mountain), and while we absolutely LOVE the beach, the mountains are definitely beautiful as well!

These pictures were taken from our back porch...

And the view from the front porch...

I have to take some new pictures of the view from the front of the house. Now we see green hills and past that are the mountains which still have snow on them. It's gorgeous!

Also, here are some gorgeous pictures we took for The Great Salt Lake. It's so cool how the mountains reflect off the water like that...

I have a bunch more, but I'm going to bed, so they'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Yes, we live in Suncrest, in Deer Ridge. We love it here! The only thing we don't really like is having to drive all the way down the mountain to go anywhere! lol! The ear popping will take a while to get use to, but that's okay.

That is cool.

My family is living outside of Tampa and are originally from Metairie, Louisiana.
How long have you been in UT, Aaron?

Here's some pics from a recent trip down the Pony Express Road in Western Utah for your viewing enjoyment ....

Looking west at the Thomas, Fish Springs and Deep Creek Mountains

Fish Springs

Indian Farm Canyon

remains of a fort at Deep Creek Pony Express Station

The picture in my profile is from a cave in the Fish Springs Mountains, looking North over the salt flats.
