It depends on who is selling and how good a house it is. In the Avenues or Sugar House, remodelled houses are holding their value; even the unremodelled ones are, too. Small areas, not a lot of inventory inn those areas. I also know someone in the valley who had to lower her wanted price by 55K when she accepted an offer. But there are a lot of houses in the valley!

Corrections in RE markets across the Nation do not occur simultaneously. To think or say UT is immune to localized backlash regardless of what's happening in the markets outside UT which actually fuel the market there, is to not look or understand the full picture. Six months from now I bet there will be a lot less positive hype and a lot more talk about survival and the soft market.
