LOL. Out my way isn't for everyone. Either of those areas are very nice. I don't care for the snow though. Those areas get a bit more than I do because of the higher elevations. Can't go wrong with either if you are looking for a nice family area.

That's the only bit that worries me - the snow. Still, the kids will love it - lol

I'm still looking in Sugar House with the same questions as the OP about elementary schools, so any further info. would be great!!
Does anyone know what age they start foreign language (and which one)? How about an instrument? How is the art program? Any specific info., eesp. about Uintah (I think I spelled that wrong??) would be great.

They don't start hitting on foreign languages until 7th grade here. Depending on the district, you get a choice of French, Spanish and German. The choices expand in high school though.

Uintah draws from an upper middle clas area so I expect it would be a "good" school with good test scores. Sad to say, class still does matter in the USA.

Oof, that is bad! My kids started French in Kindergarten in their pubic school here. I kind of assumed most decent schools started really early now with all the knowledge of that "language window"....Hm...

Wow, I have to agree, 7th grade is late to start languages. Good to know though.
