Salt Lake City Restaurants
Mexican, Pizza, Sushi, Thai, Burgers, Sunday Brunch, breakfast. What are the best choices in Salt Lake City? I'm not a big fan of national chains.

Tres Hombres is a good one for mexican. I also quite like La Puente.
Bajio is pretty good. It's more of a cafeteria style restaurant but they cook the food right in front of you which is pretty neat.
For pizza my fav. is the pie pizzeria. Another really good one is the Big Apple.
I'm not a sushi person but I went to this Korean restaurant called E-Jo's and they seemed to have a pretty cool lookin sushi bar. It was really good Korean food so I can only assume the sushi would be good too.
I've heard that the brunch at the little Americ hotel is really good too. Happy eating!!

I ate lunch at the Little America Hotel lunch buffet Wednesday with a group from work. Not a great variety, but really good food. A co-worker had just been to the brunch the previous Sunday. She said she liked it.

Red Iguana on West Temple is the best Mexican in town - not a fancy neighborhood or place but awesome food.
Breakfast at Eggs in the City on 1300 South at about 1700 East. Or Emigration Market, catty-cornered from Eggs, they both have outside seating (Emigration Mkt owned by one of our new City Council persons).
Sushi - Ichiban near downtown in a fabulous old building or Tsunami in the SUgar House Center.
Vietnamese - Indochine on 1300 East near the University (maybe 200 South).
Seafood - Market Street - on 1300 East, same block as Indochine. (you didn't ask but great restaurant)
Burgers - Crown Burgers, several locations, sounds strange with pastrami, but really good! One place is near downtown, about 400 East and 200 South maybe.
Happy eating!

We just went to the Red Iguana and it was awesome!
The Rodizio Grill at Trolley Square is a fun place too. Very good Brazilian grill. Nice atmosphere too.
If you're into sea food Joe's Crab Shack is a cool place to go. Very cool atmosphere and good food.
E-Jo's for Korean is great too.

The Atlantic Cafe between 3rd and 4th South on Main Street. They're great for a nice bite to eat at lunch, it's some sort of Mediterranean restaurant. The owners are really European!

We ate at Carvers last Friday, but for the price it wasn't worth it. I like Texas Road House personally, of course I haven't really ventured that far outside of South Jordan..lol
