I have heard there are some great deals in Traverse Mountain right now - it was hit pretty hard by the credit crunch, and there are a lot of homes in foreclosure or pre-foreclosure right now. |

I would be VERY wary of any development on a steep slope. Most of the developers seems to have cut some corners, or got some off-center engineering report to justify their lot load, so many areas have buckled streets and land sliding. Don't build in a previous landslide area or your land will likely slide again.

Thanks so much
We drove up to Suncrest and the homes are absolutely beautiful. For what they are asking up there to me is cheap. Im used to homes like that in Maryland beginning at 800K and up. Maybe I will just seek other places in the valley because in all honesty, I dont want to wake up one morning and the front of my house is over sliding down the mountain..lol |
