I know about the Grizzlies... but now with some teams in the East - like Pittsburg perhaps - looking to relocate could SLC be ever on the shortlist for a top level Ice-Hockey franchise? Would you like it?

More people need to move into the valley before we get another pro team. Real Salt Lake MLS team is struggling to get a stadium approved right now. The Utah Jazz may be the only pro franchise for a while. My real hope is for an NFL team!

I love soccer, but I could never support an arificially marketed team "emulating" Real Madrid (?)-(yeah, right in their dreams)... not to mention their hideous colors. So I can see why they are struggling. If they would try to create their own identity and drop the spanish theme crap, they might have a shot.

You think the NFL would ever bother with the Sunday-sports-boycotting crowd of Utah?

Sorry, but I still think NHL maybe the only thing that could happen in SLC.

I see your points. I personally wouldn't miss Real is they left town. Maybe Utah could get an NFL team that played on Mondays?....uhhh nope that's family night. Do you really think that the NHL will stay around? It seems like that ship is sinking like MLB.

I would loooooove to get an NHL team in Utah. I'm still new to the area but I'm dying for some really good hockey. The Grizz are okay for a hockey fix but the atmosphere leaves much to be desired - get riled up people!
