Love it now that I am retired and don't have to drive in it! So pretty when fresh....

I had never driven in snow before I moved here, so my husband took me out and taught me how to do doughnuts, and figure eights in my jeep. It was so scary at first, but then once I felt in control of the vehicle again, it was so way fun! Now, I don't mind the driving in the snow at all.
Do you remember back on Feb 13th when that storm hit, and there were all those accidents? That was crazy. That was the one time I remember thinking that I might not want to go out that night....lol....but then DH called, said his truck was in a ditch, and could I please bring him a jacket, and help him out of the truck.....wifey to the resue in her ever faithful jeep.....lol. That was one night to remember.

See...that's the difference.....After living in LaQuinta for 12 years, I cannot tolerate the heat at all....and the beach.....yuk!!! Who wants to hang out in a fish toilet? That's so gross.....

Nope....give me nice temps (very happy at 35-40), mountains, and lots of snow.....

LMAO! Not to mention the human contribution to the sea. I love looking at and sailing on the sea but I also love my chorlinated indoor swimming pool at Fairmont.

I'm a diver too. Supposedly there is some place to dive around here with warm water and tropical fish... I forget where it is but I want to check it out some time. Yeah, it's not quite as easy to hop to the Carribbean from here, but Hawaii is a lot closer!

Seabase in Grantsville. I don't know how good it is. I have heard it both ways. Some really like it, others say not so much.
