Yes! Yesterday I was up on Wasatch Blvd and I could not see the Oquirrhs. TYoday, I can see them but there was still some slight haze. I expect it will be gone by tomorrow. Another woo-hoo!

An outdoor store. Everything you ever needed (and then some) for the outdoors!

The smog. If you are on one of the benches, you can't see across the valley (on Wed.). A cold front with the strong winds drives out the smog. Just wait until you can actually see the air during a winter inversion, it's so dirty. And on really hot days in the summer, there's an excess of ozone. The TV news will tell you the air quality for the day.

Google 'REI" and you will see what they sell and can find a store. Sorel and Merrill are 2 good brands of winter boots. I personally have Sorel 'cause I liked the features of the ones I got a few years ago. Ugg boots are more for dress than actual warmth, the folks you'll see tripping around Park City during Sundance aren't outside very long. I have some and I love their comfort, but when I go out for any length of time I switch to my Sorels.

There's a REI store on either 300 or 3900 South, over near I-215 east. They have good sales people to help you.
