Veterinary Clinics
Hello,
My husband will be looking for a job within the next year (veterinarian) and we are thinking about SLC or PC. Can anyone make recommendations about clinics in those areas?

Hmm, let's see, I've had nothing but good experiences from this vet. I can't remember the exact address but they're located somewhere around 6400 S Highland Dr. If anyone knows the name of that clinic... ?

I searched Google Maps and there are three names for the same address - Cottonwood Animal Clinic (which is what I remember), Pet ER (like you said), and "Cat Clinic." It's at 6360 Highland Dr in case you're interested.

I've been there several times when my regular vet was closed - New Year's Day, Sundays, etc. They were expensive but good. I also like Sugar House Animal Hosp.

Central Valley is also good. They were awesome when our newly adopted dog turned out to have parvo. They saved him. This was probably 11 years ago now.

Cottonwood is a good clinic. I've taken my dog there after hours. I take my dog to VCA animal hospital. I really like her vet and the staff is really friendly and seems to genuinely care about my dog.
There is a new 24 facility that opened in Murray called Utah Pet Center. I heard a bad story about the groomers but nothing negative about the vets. It's in the old 49th Street Galleria building. |
