If your car doesn't use th air conditioning when you turn on the defroster, see if you can turn on the air conditioning manually. Maybe I should ask if your car, meant for Hawaii, has air conditioning?

In my car, when I turn on the defroster, I don't have to turn on the A/C, per se....just turn the knob for the blue side, so the vent opens. That way you're not freezing yourself out, and the windows will be fog free.....also, if your car has over-drive, take it out when driving in snowy, wet, slick roads, you'll get better traction....espically on corners.

Yet I notice no people on the beaches... perhaps a hurricane is approaching?

Not according to their website.
"Opening Day is Thursday, November 27th (Thanksgiving)."
None of the Park City resorts open until 11/22 or later.
