Default Air quality in Sandy/SLC vs Syracuse area

We are hoping to relocate to the Sandy vs S. Ogden/Syracuse area and were looking for some feedback on the air quality. We lived in Utah several years ago (Provo) and I understand the inversion has gotten much worse over the past 2-3 years. Just wondering if anyone had some thoughts as to whether the air quality is better up near Ogden vs SLC.
Thanks

From what I read, it's bad all along the Wasatch Front. Cache Valley/Logan is the worst. Google bad air or something like that and see al the news stories about how we're usually no.1 in the country.

I don't think the inversion has gotten any worse. Granted, it's bad, just not worse than before...

I think it is all about the same. Sandy might be a little bit worse because it dips down into more of a valley type of a bowl and it just sits while Syracuse it a little bit more of a flat plain. I have lived in both but I was only in Syracuse for one year and that was last year. I don't remember inversion days last year like we have had the past couple of days this year.

Possibly as a whole it was better last year, I am not sure.
