You see - I don't get that. I don't want to be happy for only half the year and have felt very lonely cos of this hibernation thing. Oh well, that's why I'm trying to keep myself busy - to stave of the loneliness.

Spring is in the air though so I'm hoping I find the summer as amazing as people reckon it is ))

xx

In the summer, people come out of hibernation. Summer and Winter in Utah is like night and day.

Stay positive and you will feel not so out of sorts soon!

Winter just isn't my cup of tea. Oddly enough however, I have spent my whole life in the northern states. I am just happIER in the summer than in the winter. Also, I am more of a keep to myself person, so even in the summer I am not as out and about as many people like to be.

Good postings. Park is expensive and has traffic issues. Park is great to visit , great skiing and outdoor sports. The towns outside park will be better. Try Heber 17 mi south, georgeous valley pop. 10k ppl. Pine brook, Kamas. The weather will be similar as in MT. only a few days below zero. Park is nice because you dont have the LA like smog-nasty. Not a bad commute to SLC and the airport is 30 min away! 400k would buy alot of house in Heber right now. I know cause mine appraised at 502k and i'll sell it for 410k now. I live in Heber. 435 671 1428 for a CD of the house. good luck

You might want to consider Heber Valley (the backside of Park City) as a small-town feel community with access to skiing. It's just starting to grow -but you probably can find homes in your price range.

In between SLC and Park City off the I-80 is Summit...more like a suburb of Park City - but there might possibly be homes in your price range.

Park City is pricey. It's a suburb of California - not Utah.

It lost it's small town charm just about the time the Olympics were awarded to Utah.
