Tickets to "Wicked"
Does anyone know why tickets to "Wicked" are so much more expensive in Salt lake City than anywhere else? ($100 more at least!!) Is there a source for tickets under $200 anywhere? I'm looking for end of the month April 30-May 2nd. Let me know!!

My H stood in line all night for tickets. They sold out immediately. I am lucky he would do that!

So I'm wondering how much the scalpers are getting for them. I haven't seen anything online for less than $233 per ticket. Is that what Capitol Theatre sold them for?

Hmm, think we have 2 for $150, and 4 for maybe $75. I suspect it is because it doesn't come around often.
There were people lined up by the front of the line (not IN the line, but AT the line) trying to buy them from people immediately after they (the ones IN line ) purchased them.

This show sold out in SF and I think it's on an extended run. I have not seen it yet but have read the book.

Tickets for the show in SLC aren't more expensive than any other venue, if you can get them directly. But when you have to shop the secondary market, all bets are off.

I'm not sure how many different price points were initially offered, but I found a few single seats still available for $105

It says tickets are sold out, but if you search by individual dates you'll still find some availability. Like I said, I didn't see anything other than single seats though. |
