Gee, what a surprise. I could have told you that for a $100 consultation fee.

You are supposed to be on a 500 calorie diet with this. It is very controversial and the AMA has written against it. Only one Italian doctor thought it helped in weight loss, as it's primary function is during pregnancy and immune system function.

I think there are weight loss quacks using it. Weight loss specialists are Bariatric doctors not podiatrists.

Im using a nurse practicioner in Murray Utah. I'm losing a pound a day. Try searching online for a free download of the book that Dr. Simeons (the Italian doctor who studied HCG's use for years). The booklet is called "pounds & inches".

Unless you need to lose 150 lbs or so, 1 lb/day is not a healthy loss. Even at that, you should not continue to lose this much daily. The recommended loss is 2 lbs/week.

Don't listen to all the nay sayers here. I've just started. The AMA is often wrong, and biased. If you look on the web, and read opinions FROM PEOPLE ACTUALLY DOING IT you will discover that, while not "easy", it is helping many thousands who have never been successful. And not just because they're fat lazy pigs. My mother is seriously ill from being morbidly obese. Her best friend, a highly qualified RN and her DR have both researched this on the web and can find no reason why it won't work. Shut up about 2lbs/week, i'm sick of hearing that stupid calculation which is based on the simplistic idea of a cal is a cal however you slice it. It's outmoded and debunked.
