Karate for Preschooler (live in, best, location)

I really don't know much about karate, but I would like to enroll my 4 1/2-year old son in a karate class in the fall. I live in Davis County. I'd like to find a center that will emphasize self-discipline and boost his confidence. Do you have one you'd recommend in my area?

Check the ATA (American TaeKwonDo Association) website if you're open to Tae Kwon Do rather than karate. They have excellent programs for children and are all over the U.S. VERY age appropriate, yet still emphasizing self-discipline and respect. Their program for kids your child's age is called Tiny Tigers. The website will allow you to look by location and see if one is in your area. We tried several places and ATA was my favorite by far.

My kids used to go to America's Best Blackbelt in NSL (right next to Orchard Lanes). Both kids and H went for 2 years and really enjoyed it. I can't say enough about how good it was for my kids. My S was about the same age as your's when he started.
